Looking for a ChatGPT alternative for auditing your website?
Asking ChatGPT what is wrong with your homepage is the cheapest thing you can do, and it is a genuinely good first move. It reads your copy, it has views on your headline, and it will write you a better one on the spot. What it cannot do is measure. It has never loaded your page, never timed it, never opened it on a phone, and never watched one person try to buy from you. Ask it twice and you get two answers.

Most website audits are one AI's guess. Every score in yours comes from machine-learning models trained on how thousands of real people rated thousands of real web pages, and checked against the standards professionals use for speed, accessibility, readability, and brand. It is the grading a university lab runs, for the price of a coffee.

When to choose ChatGPT
Choose ChatGPT when you want a second pair of eyes on your words and you want them in the next thirty seconds. It is free to start, it will rewrite your headline as many times as you like, and you can argue with it about the result until you are happy. For a first pass on copy, before you have spent anything at all, it is hard to beat and we will not pretend otherwise.
When to choose you x you i
Choose us when you need a number you can act on rather than a view you have to trust. Our scores are fitted against what thousands of real people said about real pages, so a 62 means the same thing this week as it did last week. We also load your site: how long it takes, what it does on a phone, whether someone using a screen reader can get through it. One audit is $5, paid once, with no subscription required.
What we check that ChatGPT does not
Every one of these is a row in the table above, ticked in our column and blank in theirs.
- Connects to Google Search Console
- Shows which searches moved after your audit
- Links your fixes to your Google traffic
- Shows what AI answers cost you in clicks
- Compares your clicks with last year
- Tracks your score against your Google traffic
- Checks how fast your pages load
- Checks it works on phones
- Checks people with disabilities can use it
- Predicts where visitors look first
- Flags copy that sounds AI-written
- Emails you what your fixes did, 30 days on
- Scores measured against what real people said, not an opinion
What a year costs
Same year, both tools, list prices only.
- ChatGPT Plus, $20 a month
- $240a year
- you x you i $5 an audit, 12 audits, one a month
- $60a year
- Difference over a year
- $180
And you only pay for the audits you run. One audit is $5, paid once, so a year of monthly checks is a ceiling and not a bill. A subscription is the other way round: you pay it whether you look at it that month or not.
The two tools do different jobs, and the table above says which. This is only what each one asks for.

ChatGPT vs you x you i: common questions
Why not just ask ChatGPT what is wrong with my site?
You should, and it costs you nothing. Then ask it again tomorrow and see whether you get the same answer. An assistant hands you a judgment, and it has no way to tell you how sure it is or what its score would mean to anybody else. Ours come from what real people said about real pages, so they hold still.
Can ChatGPT check how fast my page loads?
No. It cannot fetch your site, time it, or render it on a phone, and it cannot run an accessibility scan. If it gives you a load time, it is guessing from the words on the page. We measure all of it in a real browser, on every audit, and hold it against Google's own Core Web Vitals thresholds.
Does your report rewrite my copy for me?
No, and ChatGPT does. We tell you that your headline never says what you sell, which of your buttons nobody can find, and what that is costing you. The words stay yours to write. If you want a first draft, ask an assistant for one, then run the page through us again to see whether it landed.
What do I pay?
One audit, $5, and that is the end of it. No subscription, no monthly bill running whether you open it or not.
What is the audit based on?
Our own models, trained on what real people did on real websites: the pages they left, bought from, read, and trusted, plus the web standards for speed, accessibility, readability, and brand. A chatbot learns from text written about websites; these learn from what actually worked. Every fix comes from published research, ranked by the size of its effect.
Can't an AI chatbot tell me the same thing?
For a decision the business rides on, you want judgment that holds still. Ask a chatbot the same question twice and the answer changes, because it is giving you the average of everything it has read, where the loudest voice often wins. Our scores stay put and point at a specific fix, so you can act on one and defend it to whoever signs off.
Why not just paste my website into a chatbot?
Because a chat ends. It answers the question you thought to ask, and then it is over: it does not know what you changed afterwards, it has never seen your traffic, and it will never come back in October to tell you what the edit you made in July was worth. Ours ranks the fixes in the order worth doing, then watches what your search traffic does and emails you the numbers at 30, 60 and 90 days. You still make the changes. Nothing here decides on its own that your homepage needs rewriting.
