Looking for a Google Gemini alternative for auditing your website?

Gemini is the assistant most people already have. It is sitting in the corner of the inbox, it costs nothing to try, and it will give you a view on your homepage in seconds. The view is the product. There is no browser behind it timing your page, no scan checking whether a screen reader can get through your checkout, and no evidence at all that its opinion matches the opinion of anyone who has actually visited you.

Most website audits are one AI's guess. Every score in yours comes from machine-learning models trained on how thousands of real people rated thousands of real web pages, and checked against the standards professionals use for speed, accessibility, readability, and brand. It is the grading a university lab runs, for the price of a coffee.

When to choose Google Gemini

Choose Gemini when you want an instant, free reaction and you already live inside Google's tools. It is the cheapest paid tier of the assistants, it will happily go back and forth with you about a paragraph, and if all you need is a sanity check on wording before you publish, it is right there and it costs nothing. That is a real use and we would use it too.

When to choose you x you i

Choose us when a reaction is not enough. We open your site in a real browser, time it, render it at phone width, scan it for accessibility, and score your headline, buttons, prices and trust signals against what thousands of real people said about real pages. The report ranks what to fix. It is $5, once, with no subscription required.

What a year costs

Same year, both tools, list prices only.

Google Gemini Google AI Plus, $4.99 a month
$59.88a year
you x you i $5 an audit, 12 audits, one a month
$60a year

And you only pay for the audits you run. One audit is $5, paid once, so a year of monthly checks is a ceiling and not a bill. A subscription is the other way round: you pay it whether you look at it that month or not.

The two tools do different jobs, and the table above says which. This is only what each one asks for.

Google Gemini vs you x you i: common questions

Gemini is free. Why would I pay for an audit?

Because free advice you cannot check is worth what you paid for it. Gemini cannot load your page, so it cannot tell you it takes eleven seconds on a phone. It cannot scan your site, so it cannot tell you the contrast on your buy button fails WCAG. It gives you words about your words.

Does Gemini know how my site performs in Google Search?

No. It has no access to your Search Console, so it cannot see a single query you rank for. Connect yours to us and every audit is lined up against your real clicks, impressions and positions, including the queries where an AI summary is quietly eating your traffic.

Can it tell me why nobody is buying?

It will tell you something, immediately, and it will sound plausible. Whether it is true is not a question it can answer, because it has never seen a visitor arrive on your page and leave. Our conversion findings are grounded in eye-tracking research and in what real people told us about real pages.

What does an audit cost?

$5 for one, paid once. No subscription, no seats, no annual contract.

What is the audit based on?

Our own models, trained on what real people did on real websites: the pages they left, bought from, read, and trusted, plus the web standards for speed, accessibility, readability, and brand. A chatbot learns from text written about websites; these learn from what actually worked. Every fix comes from published research, ranked by the size of its effect.

Can't an AI chatbot tell me the same thing?

For a decision the business rides on, you want judgment that holds still. Ask a chatbot the same question twice and the answer changes, because it is giving you the average of everything it has read, where the loudest voice often wins. Our scores stay put and point at a specific fix, so you can act on one and defend it to whoever signs off.

Why not just paste my website into a chatbot?

Because a chat ends. It answers the question you thought to ask, and then it is over: it does not know what you changed afterwards, it has never seen your traffic, and it will never come back in October to tell you what the edit you made in July was worth. Ours ranks the fixes in the order worth doing, then watches what your search traffic does and emails you the numbers at 30, 60 and 90 days. You still make the changes. Nothing here decides on its own that your homepage needs rewriting.
