Looking for a Perplexity alternative for auditing your website?

Perplexity is two things at once, and only one of them competes with us. Ask it to grade your homepage and you get the same confident, unrepeatable opinion any assistant gives you. But it is also somewhere your buyers now ask about your category, which makes being readable and quotable in it a real problem worth solving. We audit the second half. We do not pretend the first half is a measurement.

When to choose Perplexity

Choose Perplexity when the job is research rather than a verdict on your site. It cites where it got things, which makes it far easier to check than an assistant that just asserts, and it is genuinely useful for working out how your category is being described to buyers right now. Use it to find out what the market says. Do not use it to score your own page.

When to choose you x you i

Choose us when you want to know whether an assistant can even read your page, and why the visitors who do arrive leave without buying. We check that your content is structured so it can be quoted, then measure your headline, your buttons, your prices, your trust signals, your speed and your accessibility. One report, $5, no subscription.

Perplexity vs you x you i: common questions

Do you tell me whether Perplexity mentions my brand?

No. Tools like Otterly.AI and Profound do that, and if the question keeping you up is whether assistants name you, buy one of them. We answer the question underneath it: whether your pages are written and structured so that an assistant can read them, understand what you sell, and quote you accurately.

Is being cited by AI the same as ranking on Google?

No, and the gap is widening. A page can rank perfectly and still be unquotable, usually because the claim a buyer needs is buried in a graphic, split across tabs, or written so vaguely that nothing can be lifted out of it. We flag those pages.

Can I ask Perplexity to audit my site instead?

You can, and it will answer. It will also answer differently tomorrow, because nothing behind the answer is measured. That is fine for exploring an idea and useless for deciding what to change first.

What is the price?

An audit is $5. There is no subscription and no minimum: you run one when you have a page worth reading.
