Looking for a Roast My Web alternative?
First, a warning about the name. Roast My Web and roast.page are two different companies, and if you arrived here after reading about one you may be thinking of the other. Roast My Web sells monthly credits, cheaply, for AI reviews covering design, conversion, mobile and on-page search, plus a slower mode that spends two credits thinking harder. It will also set your page beside another site, which is a thing we have not shipped. What it does not do is tell you what its verdict was measured against, or say anything at all once the review is written.

Most website audits are one AI's guess. Every score in yours comes from machine-learning models trained on how thousands of real people rated thousands of real web pages, and checked against the standards professionals use for speed, accessibility, readability, and brand. It is the grading a university lab runs, for the price of a coffee.

When to choose Roast My Web
Take Roast My Web if volume at low cost is what you are after and you are comfortable judging the advice yourself. Their cheapest plan buys several page reviews a month for the price of a coffee, and the agency plan brings the cost per review down further still. Lining your page up against a rival is also a real feature that we list as not yet shipped, so if that comparison is the thing you actually want, they have it today and we do not.
When to choose you x you i
Pick us when you want to know what the verdict rests on and whether it held. Our scores are fitted to ratings real readers gave real pages, we check whether somebody using a screen reader can get through the page, and Search Console tells us at 30, 60 and 90 days what your changes did. A single audit runs to $5, and there is no subscription behind it.

What a year costs
Same year, both tools, list prices only.
- Roast My Web Solo, 6 page reviews a month, $4 a month
- $48a year
- you x you i $5 an audit, 12 audits, one a month
- $60a year
And you only pay for the audits you run. One audit is $5, paid once, so a year of monthly checks is a ceiling and not a bill. A subscription is the other way round: you pay it whether you look at it that month or not.
The two tools do different jobs, and the table above says which. This is only what each one asks for.

Roast My Web vs you x you i: common questions
Is this the same company as roast.page?
No. Two separate businesses with names that are easy to confuse, both selling AI page reviews. We keep a page for each because a reader searching for one of them should not land on an argument about the other.
They are cheaper per page. Why pay more?
Because the cheap number buys a verdict and nothing that tells you what the verdict answers to. If you are happy to filter the advice yourself, the maths favours them. Our case is that a score anchored to real ratings, plus an answer about whether the work paid, is worth the difference.
Do they check accessibility?
We found no mention of it anywhere on their site. We check it, and we would rather say what we looked for than claim it as a headline: a page nobody can operate with a keyboard is losing you customers quietly, and no amount of good copy fixes that.
They compare my page to a competitor. Do you?
Not yet, and it is marked as such in the table above rather than quietly left blank. It is genuinely useful and it is on our list. Until it ships, that row belongs to them.
What is the audit based on?
Our own models, trained on what real people did on real websites: the pages they left, bought from, read, and trusted, plus the web standards for speed, accessibility, readability, and brand. A chatbot learns from text written about websites; these learn from what actually worked. Every fix comes from published research, ranked by the size of its effect.
Can't an AI chatbot tell me the same thing?
For a decision the business rides on, you want judgment that holds still. Ask a chatbot the same question twice and the answer changes, because it is giving you the average of everything it has read, where the loudest voice often wins. Our scores stay put and point at a specific fix, so you can act on one and defend it to whoever signs off.
Why not just paste my website into a chatbot?
Because a chat ends. It answers the question you thought to ask, and then it is over: it does not know what you changed afterwards, it has never seen your traffic, and it will never come back in October to tell you what the edit you made in July was worth. Ours ranks the fixes in the order worth doing, then watches what your search traffic does and emails you the numbers at 30, 60 and 90 days. You still make the changes. Nothing here decides on its own that your homepage needs rewriting.
